Akademie van Kunsten Festival

The Akademie van Kunsten Festival at the KNAW in Amsterdam celebrates the 10th birthday of the Akademie van Kunsten (Society of Arts) with a weekend of live arts programming, including a special exhibition by Claudy Jongstra in 'De Kunstenkamer' of the Trippenhuis. On view through November 2024, Jongstra's exhibition delves into her extensive archive, highlighting exceptional craftsmanship and providing an exclusive glimpse into more than 20 years of her artistic practice, including iconic archival pieces, unique samples, pieces from her newly initiated Loads Collection, and the centerpiece, 'Woven Skin' (2018).
